How did you spend the holidays?

It was a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and quality time with the kiddos and loved ones! We also squeezed in a winter getaway to Deadwood, South Dakota for some sledding and explored the charming, historical town.

Holiday decorating tips?

During this time of year, I enjoy giving my kids the creative freedom to decorate our home. They have a blast making paper snowflakes and hanging them in every corner. This year, they took it a step further by handcrafting many of the ornaments for the Christmas tree, making it even more meaningful and special!

Do you have any Christmas traditions?

We love to take our kids to an annual Winter Wonderland to see the park lit up by thousands of lights! We grab hot chocolate and meet up our friends there, kids love it!

Any big plans for 2024?

I want to prioritize the simple things in life like making more home cooked meals, reading, and actually finish a book haha! I also hope to expand our garden, go on more nature adventures with the kids, and relish in the beauty of life's uncomplicated moments.

Looking back on 2023, what’s been your biggest takeaway?

Honor your season. Acknowledge the season you’re in and be content with it knowing that it’s only temporary and there will come a time for you to step into a new season.
