Hi Dakota, tell us a little bit about yourself!
Hi I’m Dakota and I do content creation for Islands! A little bit about me is that I was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico but raised in Virginia. I currently go to school full time and work full time at Free People. I love to be on the go and be a busy bee but also just love spending time with my family and friends!
Tell us about your trip
This past week I travelled to Minnesota to celebrate my boyfriends sister baby shower and of course explore the beautiful state of Minnesota!
What are your top recommendations?
Minnesota is known as the “land of 10,000 lakes”. So anywhere you go you will find luscious green trees and some body of water. We specifically stopped by Lake Ann and Lake Minnetonka! We also went to a cool Speakeasy bar called the lions den. My go to drink recently is a cosmopolitan(thanks to Sex and the City)
Favorite Islands look you wore?
I had two favorite looks which were the L Space printed missy bikini and the alohas Luca top(softest shirt ever).
What are some of your must have pieces for summer?
My summer must have pieces are a staple button down, midi skirts, and most importantly, Kitty heels!
