We’re chatting with our La costa shoot muse Emery Castor about who she is, her top tips on beauty and wellness, and all about what it was like shooting with us in north carolina.

Hi emery, tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Emery Castor and I am from Wilmington, NC. I first started modeling at 15, primarily doing e-commerce shoots, but took a break to earn my degree in fashion development from NC State. I’ve decided to step back into the industry now because I really cherish the opportunity to collaborate with all the talented people in production. Plus, I've always been fascinated by the creative direction and styling aspects of modeling.
What’s your go-to fitness/wellness routine?
My go-to fitness / wellness routine tip is to find an activity that gets you moving that you love! For me, I love swimming & pilates. It’s a great way to start your day and get those happy hormones flowing!
Do you have any beauty or skincare tips for glowy summer skin?
My skincare routine for that glowly summer skin is saltwater! My skin always looks the best when I am swimming in the ocean everyday - our mothers were right! (OFC ALWAYS A SPF TOO) For that natural summer look, I love a good skin tint, a little hoola bronzer and benefit’s “benetint” liquid tint for that glowly sun kissed look.
What are some must have pieces in your wardrobe for summer?
My summer wardrobe must have pieces are my everyday Shelton metal gold jewelry, a pair of chunky sunglasses, black Havanas flip flops, a vintage red bandanna, and a linen flowy maxi skirt.
What is your favorite Islands look we shot?
My favorite Islands look we shot was the Agolde jean shorts & Lack of Color straw hat with the black bow & the Alohas knit dress with the matching scarf.
